Please can you ensure your child has a swimming hat as part of their swimming kit? Wearing cap reduces drag. Important if you're into competitive swimming. It also keeps the hair out of your face while breathing (we are practising this at the moment). Caps won't keep hair dry, but still it keeps the hair from having direct contact with the chlorinated water of the pool. 1610 also request this for all swimming groups using the pool.(They don't need to look like this one though!)
