Song Words

Mrs Trevorrow has set us the challenge of learning the words for our year 4 concert songs, look on the dasp music website in the student resources, year 4 singing concert resources to find the words and backing tracks to practise with.  I am so impressed with some of you as you have been looking at these over the holidays! I’ve attached bad guys because it’s not on there as it is our song!

Trilby / Fedora Hats

For our performance of bad guys we are looking for some trilby / fedora style hats.  If you have got one at home or see one on your travels or even have one you could borrow please bring it in to school next week.  We need one each if possible to make our performance of bad guys that little bit special! (They can be any colour).

Florida Challenge

Our current humanities topic is Florida, I have attached our knowledge organiser for this topic.  It includes facts we would hope the children would come to learn as we progress through the topic.  I have also set the children a challenge this week: They have chosen a project that they would like to get involved in and next week we are going to split into groups to work on these together.  By the end of term the children will be presenting their work to the other children in year 4. Please take time to discuss the projects with your children and see what ideas they’ve got and what they want to include.  I would like them to make a brainstorm of all of their ideas and bring it back into school so that we are ready to start our projects next week.
