I expect everyone is fast asleep and VERY tired! I'm sure you'll all agree the children were outstanding during sports morning today. Year 4 put 110% effort in to the playground skills and in the field races. The skills and talent demonstrated were of a very high standard, along with other values such as sportsmanship and determination. I couldn't have been more proud of Year 4 - well done! Thank you to all of you who were able to come and support us.
We are looking forward to our gala tomorrow morning (Wednesday), 9-10am at 1610 - please come and cheer us on! REMEMBER HATS, GOGGLES, 2x TOWELS FOR EVERYONE! If it is easier, drop your child at 1610 (and wait with them) so that you can then watch! We will meet outside the leisure centre doors at 9:50am.
Tomorrow, as part of our health and safety week, we also have a visit from the NSPCC and Tae Kwondo!
Mr. Whitmarsh lead our final samba lesson today in preparation for the concert next Tuesday afternoon - 2:10pm in the school hall. It will last approximately 20 minutes and we would love you to come and watch us. The children have been asked if they could bring in a bright coloured t-shirt to wear - preferably a colour from the Brazilian flag, but any colour would be fine!
We are still waiting for a couple of consent slips for the sleepovers next week.
Mr. Duffy from DMS came in today to talk to the class, along with 5 pupils from last year, so hopefully they all feel excited about Thursday - transfer day!
See you all tomorrow,
Mrs. J and the Year 4 Team.
