Year 4 have been incredibly
active today as they took to the playground and field for a series of
activities. We began by doing some skills on the playground like hockey,
netball, tennis and throwing, before
every child had the opportunity to take part in a set of races. All the
children should be incredibly proud of their efforts today in the sweltering
heat! They all acted responsibly and maturely throughout the morning.
Thank you to all the parents for the support they showed this morning - much appreciated.
Whilst on the topic of being
outside, I thought it would be worth mentioning that we encourage children to
drink water throughout the day so please carry on sending children in with full
bottles of water. They are able to fill them up as the day goes on.
