Home Learning 29th June 2012

Home learning 29th June 2012
Next week is the start of our Olympic Fortnight. You can choose one of the following activities to complete for home learning:
1. I would like you to find out about a British Olympian or Paralympian that you admire. Maybe it is the person who has run the fastest or jumped the highest, maybe it is someone from Dorset just like you or maybe it is someone who has been the most determined. The pictures below might give you some ideas. Present your work as a fact file, include a picture and lots of interesting facts.
Please see home learning sheet for photos.

2. We have been learning in Maths about how to present information in a bar chart. Can you present all or some of the following information about Olympic and Paralympic medals 2008 in a bar chart?
Please see home learning sheet for data.
