Home Learning 11th May

Home learning – Year 4 – 11th May 2012

We have been approached by The Dorset Echo to take part in a drawing competition. I would like you to have a go at home! You need to draw a portrait of The Queen on a piece of A4 paper (portrait). We had a go at this earlier this year. You may use any drawing media, for example, pencil, pencil crayon, pen, pastel, etc. I will be sending these to the Echo for publishing if you return it by Monday, or if you return it later it will be entered into the school Queen’s Portrait Gallery which will be on display for our Jubilee celebrations.

Time to celebrate! All of year 4 have now accomplished their silver award for behaviour, and some are well on their way to gold! To celebrate this we have arranged to hold an Hawian Beach Party on Friday 18th May. Any flower garlands, appropriate games and music or food gratefully received, but not essential! I would like to invite the children to bring their brightest clothes in a named bag to wear for the party on the afternoon of Friday 18th.

This week we will be checking the 4x and 8x table on Thursday.
