OPTIONAL #InspiredToLearn Non-School Uniform Day and Party lunch. Children will eat their lunch (pre-ordered hot food or normal packed lunch)
On Monday morning there is an optional late start for children that may have stayed up to watch the football. The register will close at 11am when children should arrive at school at the latest.

Sports Day
Could all children have PE kits and suitable sports footwear for Tuesday's sports day. They should also bring a drink bottle, hat and wear sunscreen if possible please.

Class celebration
We will now have our class celebration on Tuesday afternoon. We will also try some French foods that the children have been learning about.

Board games morning
The children are invited to bring in non electronic game and toys for Thursday morning. Please ensure that the box or suitable surface is labelled.

Roundhouse project
As part of our NEW ROUNDHOUSE PROJECT, Anthony will be conducting a final DAUBING WORKSHOP with Y4 on Thursday 18th July 2024.
Children will be given the option to take part in this during the morning. All children will be taking part in the afternoon.
Clothing and Footwear: Children should bring to school outdoor clothing suitable for the weather conditions. Sturdy shoes are preferable to ensure safety during the workshops. Clothes usually worn for Forest School activities (clothes you don’t mind getting dirty) would be best advised.
Children will need to have their school uniforms and school shoes in school for when they are not daubing.

Leavers assembly
Parents, carers and family members are welcome to attend and are encouraged to dress in FORMAL ATTIRE SUITABLE FOR AN AWARDS EVENING! Year 4 will also be encouraged to dress to impress in the same attire! If anyone needs any help with this, please contact the school office. We have lots of formal wear available in our fancy dress wardrobes. These costumes can be made available free of charge. This will be an outdoor event and will happen whatever the weather. Gates will open at 9:45am. Seating must be pre-booked. The seating form must be returned to the school office on or before Tuesday 16th July 2024.
PLEASE NOTE - The Year 4 Leavers Assembly will include a 15 minute interval after about 45-50 minutes. You are welcome to bring your own refreshments for this interval. The entire assembly will last approximately two hours.
ALSO ON THE LAST DAY - Following the assembly, parents, carers and siblings are welcome to stay for the after-show picnic party

As ever please get in touch if you have any questions.
Kind regards,
Ms Browne and the year 4 team. x
