Hello everyone,
We’ve had such a lovely final few days in Year 4. This class is full of energy and expression, and we couldn’t have been prouder of their performance as a Samba band on Tuesday – they were fantastic!
On Wednesday, the children enjoyed a French Café experience, taking turns to be waiters and customers, ordering and serving food in French (see photos below). It was a great opportunity for them to practise their language skills in a fun and immersive way.
Today, they’ll enjoy their final fun swim of the year, and on Friday they will spend time with their Reception buddies in the morning, followed by our Stampede Exhibition at 2pm. Parents and carers are warmly welcome to attend, and you'll also be able to purchase your child's elephant – please check your emails for further details.
Next Week
We’re excited to let you know that Monday 21st July will be a special Party Day to celebrate our wonderful Year 4 pupils!
As part of the celebrations – and to help us film a fabulous Disco Scene for our end-of-year video – children are invited to:
🎉 Wear home clothes for the day
🎵 Bring in any bright, neon clothing or sunglasses for the disco filming (if they have any at home)
🛍️ No need to buy anything new – please use what you already have
📌 Year 4 Leavers’ Assembly – Tuesday 22nd July, 10:30am
A reminder that our Year 4 Leavers’ Assembly will take place on Tuesday 22nd July at 10:30am. Parents, carers and family members are warmly invited to join us for this special occasion.
We’re encouraging smart, formal attire for both children and adults – think awards evening! If you need support with suitable clothing, please do get in touch with the school office, as we have a selection of free-to-borrow items available.
As always, if you have any questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Kind regards,
Ms Browne and the fabulous Year 4 Team 😊
