Today marked a truly special moment as we said goodbye to our fantastic Year 4 class on their final day at the Prince of Wales School.
Our leavers' assembly was a joyful celebration of all that the children have achieved during their time with us. From awards to a video montage of their best moments, it was a time to reflect, smile and share in the pride we all feel. One of the highlights was the whole-class music video – a vibrant, energetic performance of The Spark. Full of personality, laughter and joy, the video captured the children's individuality and spirit. It was a powerful reminder that every one of them has found their spark – and they’re ready to let it shine.
We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the parents, carers and family members who joined us today and who have supported the children, and us, so warmly over the years. Your encouragement, kindness and partnership have meant so much.
Thank you, too, for the generous and thoughtful gifts given to the Year 4 team. We were truly touched by your thoughtfulness.
As our Year 4s move on to their next adventure at middle school, we send them off with all our best wishes. They leave us ready to shine in new places, and we couldn’t be prouder.
