Hello everyone,
I can't believe we only have 3 weeks of term in year 4 left! Where has the time gone?
This week is a big one for the children as on Thursday they will spend the day at their new schools. You should have received all the relevant information about the day from your child's new middle school. Key information includes: they should go to transfer day in their POW school uniform; take with them a drink, snack and a packed lunch and be dropped off and collected at the stated times form their new schools.
Please note that we will be sending children's school inhalers home on Wednesday afternoon so that they can be taken to middle school for the day (please return them to POW on Friday).
If you need any additional information or advice, please contact Mrs Ray or Mrs Hudson directly.
Home learning
It is my hope that at some point before the end of term that we have a French food tasting party in year 4. This week's home learning is for the children to complete a French menu. This should be typical French foods and they can record their ideas in French or English. Children have been sent home with a paper copy of their home learning but here is an electronic copy here should you need it.
This week's spellings
We are a little out of synch of normal spelling sessions due to last week's class photos.
