Welcome to Year 4

 

Welcome to year 4 everyone,

I hope you and your children have had a happy and enjoyable summer and are looking forward to starting the new school year on Monday. 

We are so excited to welcome the new year 4 children, we have so many engaging learning activities and new adventures in store and can't wait to get started. 

We will have the Year 4 Parent Information session on Monday 12th September, after morning drop off, when we will detail much of what you need to know for this term. However, here are some reminders and dates that might be useful before then:

• Year 4 will have PE on Mondays and Wednesdays and so it would be very helpful if children could have their PE kits on Monday please. 
• Please provide your child with a healthy snack and labelled water bottle daily. 
• Please ensure children have a labelled coat or jacket next week as the forecast is changeable but we still like to go outside in light drizzle, for fresh air and physical activity.  
• Children need their Swimming kits every Thursday starting this Thursday 😊  
• I (Ms Browne) will be teaching year 4 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Mr MacBean will be teaching on Thursdays and Fridays. 
• Year 4 will be going on an excursion in the second week of term and will need to dress up as an WW2 evacuee. You should have an email from Mr MacBean detailing this, please check your spam email folders or ask the team or office if you haven't received this.
