Good Evening,
What an exciting couple of weeks! Last week we had 2 trips, one to Cranborne and one to the County Museum - both of which enriched our learning about The Romans, experiencing daily life hands on, handling real artefacts from archaelogical digs in the local area, contextualising our local history.......and much more!!! Get your child to take you to the Roman Town House or Museum and tell you all about it - I learnt so much too!
This week we are having an India week, and already today we had a visitor in who taught us dance, art, hand gestures and answered our many questions! A very vibrant and fun day! Keep asking each day for an update! You can join the school on Friday afternoon in the hall for an Indian Cafe, buy food made by the children, and to watch the dances that the children have learnt this week.
Also, not forgetting the musical soiree on Wednesday evening! And what a talented musical class we have in Year 4 - I can't wait!
