Home learning 25th May 2012

Home Learning – 25th May 2012

Next week is due to be a very busy week in preparation for the Diamond Jubilee Street Party on Friday and our trip to Mai Dun on Tuesday.

Things to remember:

Tuesday – Dress up as a Celt or Roman for our walk to Maiden Castle. Bring a packed lunch, plenty to drink, sun cream and hat. If it is too hot I may need to postpone this trip until later in the term as there is no shelter on the hill.

Wednesday – Swimming as usual

Friday – Wear red, white or blue, or any combination of these and bring along your party food. There is a list in the class to sign up for your party favourites.

We will be learning a lot more about The Queen and her 60 years on the throne next week, but I would like you to get a head start. What can you find out about our Queen? I would like you to make an information page about HRH. It must include pictures and writing. I should contain some fascinating facts that nobody else might know. It could have an element of 3D.

Keep learning those 4x table and 8x table facts, as I still haven’t got around to checking them! (Although we are practising them in class too).
