Raising the game - subordinate clauses!

Raising the game!!!!!!!

We continued learning about subordinate clauses this week, how they can appear either at the beginning of a sentence (fronted adverbial phrase), or in the middle or at the end of a sentence! I now expect EVERYONE to include them in their writing in order to raise the standard!!!!!!!!

Main clause = a part of a sentence that makes sense on its own. Subordinate clause (extra information) that doesn't make sense if read on its own. Depending on where the subordinate clause is, it will be either followed by a comma, comma before it or either side of it!

Remember = Mummy Clause - Suzy, subordinate clause = baby Alan, baby Arthur and baby Alfred (triplets)
