Home learning - Year 4 – 5^th October 2012

This week I have got a few Maths sheet for you to have a go at.  It all links to Subtraction, our current topic.  We have focused on mental strategies this week and next week we will be looking at more formal written methods. 

Also, next week we are off to the farm on Tuesday 9^th October.  We would like the children to dress up in their evacuee costumes for this trip as we are aiming to see the farm from the eyes of an evacuee!  No doubt the weather will decree that we need waterproofs and wellies too!  Please send the children to school on Tuesday in their evacuee costumes with suitable modern outdoor clothing.
