Wow, nearly a week into the second half of the Spring Term. Time really is flying by.
We have had yet another busy week in Year 4. We started the week by jet setting to Florida. This was a really fun introduction to our topic. The children really seemed to enjoy us all being dressed up.
In Literacy this week we have been focusing on pictures from a book called 'Into The Sea'. Children had the choice to choose which genre they wanted to write in and the results were AMAZING. Some really good writing was produced.
In Maths we have been focusing on multiplication and division, whilst practising times tables alongside this!
We have been busy rehearsing for the Music Concert next week. We will be at Thomas Hardye from 9:30-1 on Monday for rehearsals. The children need to be there in the evening at 6. The concert starts at 6:30 and lasts around an hour.
Tomorrow we are also visiting Thomas Hardye and watching a piece of drama that they have produced. The topic of this drama is plastic pollution which is promised to be informative and enjoyable. We are all looking forward to this!
Have a lovely rest of the week,

Trip to the farm tomorrow.
Hello all,
This blog is just for some clarification about our trip tomorrow.
Can all children come into school dressed in their uniform. Please bring in their evacuee costume as we will be getting changed into these at lunch time. Also, please ensure all children have a packed lunch tomorrow. It is meant to be sunny but cold, so children must be wearing clothes that will keep them warm. Wellies are a must!!
Sorry if there has been any confusion!
