I hope you have all recovered after our EPIC adventure last week! I know I'm still tired and aching in places I never knew existed! I can also honestly say that I have never had so much fun before - you were all a real joy to take away - great senses of humour, team spirit, resilience (especially in the face of some TERRIBLE weather), bravery, kindness and respect. I don't think your parents would believe just how brave some of you were - those activities were no mean feat! We saw some natural leaders emerge who were excellent at supporting their group and taking control of team activities in a fair, calm and logic manner - superb! Many of you overcame fears of some sort or another, whether it was heights, water, eating, the dark or sleeping away from home - and that new found bravery and skills that you have developed and learned to help you achieve these goals, is what it is all about! I am sooooooo proud of ALL of you!!!!!!!!!!
Ofcourse there were also some VERY funny moments, which I am sure you will all treasure and remember forever!!!!!
Please invite your parents to come in over the next couple of mornings to see the photos on the white board - we will also be displaying them in our cloakroom!
All that remains is to say a HUGE, GIGANTIC, MASSIVE, COLOSSAL THANK YOU to Mr. Farrington, Mr. Macbean, Mrs. Scott, Mrs. Thomas and Mrs. Brown for giving up their time to join us and for making our trip sooooooooo memorable and fun - we couldn't have wished for better people to have shared our experience with - THANK YOU!
Ooooooo! Before I forget, it is the Year 4 information morning this Thursday at 9:10 in the hall!
